Platform Usage Agreement

By signing up and using the JavaScript Devs platform to hire developers, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payment Terms

Service Fee: Companies hiring developers through this platform agree to pay a service fee of 10% of the developer's total compensation for the first year of employment.

Payment Deadline: This fee must be paid within one week (7 days) of the developer starting work with your company.

Late Payment Penalty: For each day the payment is delayed beyond the 7-day deadline, there will be an additional penalty of 1% of the total compensation per day.

Example: If you hire a developer with a $100,000 annual salary, the service fee would be $10,000. If paid after 10 days (3 days late), the total amount due would be $10,300 ($10,000 + 3 days × $100 penalty).

Payment Process

  • Payment is due within 7 days of the developer's start date
  • Late payments will incur daily penalties of 1% of total compensation
  • All payments must be made through the designated payment methods
  • Failure to pay may result in account suspension and legal action

Platform Responsibilities

  • Provide a platform for connecting developers and companies
  • Facilitate communication between parties
  • Maintain platform security and user privacy
  • Provide customer support for platform-related issues

Company Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about job requirements and compensation
  • Pay the service fee within the specified timeframe
  • Comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain professional conduct in all communications

Limitation of Liability

JavaScript Devs acts as a platform facilitator only. We are not responsible for the hiring decisions, employment terms, or any disputes between companies and developers. All employment relationships are between the hiring company and the developer directly.
